Oden was born and raised in Georgia, and has been a Durant resident since 1979. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and has 30 plus years of experience as a self- made, successful businesswoman. She prides herself on being a team player and has big dreams of making Durant an even better city. She has two children, Jimmy Grube and Lisa Schuessler and four grandchildren.
